Liabilities & Indemnity Insurance

Employers’ Liability

If you employ one or more people, Employers’ Liability Insurance is a legal requirement for your business. Employers’ Liability Insurance protects you against the cost of compensation claims arising from employee illness or injury.

You can easily add Employers Liability cover to your Business Insurance policy or your Public Liability insurance policy. You must be insured for at least £5 million. However, most of our insurers offer cover of at least £10 million.

    Public Liability

We work with leading insurers to cover all business, from contractors working on site to mobile hairdressers, cleaners or home tutors.

Our insurers cover your business against things you’re responsible for, as well as events outside your control. So if you, a partner or an employee are responsible for an accident that causes injury or damage, or someone makes a claim against you for compensation, you can protect your livelihood with as little hassle as possible.

    Directors and Officers

Directors and officers have specific duties within their business responsibilities and powers relating to their positions.

We understand how important it is to adequately protect your business. If a director or officer of your company is found to have acted outside of their terms of reference, civil, criminal or regulatory proceedings can be brought against them.

Directors and Officers liability insurance covers the cost of defending these proceedings, as well as any compensation costs that arise from an unsuccessful defence.

    Commercial Legal Protection

If you have a dispute with an employee that cannot be resolved internally, face a criminal prosecution, receive a statutory enforcement notice or experience problems under the Data Protection Act; these are some of the typical issues that our standalone policy can provide cover for.

The high cost of legal advice, coupled with increasingly complex and changing employment legislation, means few companies have the resources or expertise to defend themselves against legal action.
